Where is the oil filter?
The position of the oil filter element may be different for different models, but most of the positions are at the front top of the engine and under the engine (as shown in the figure). If you want to remove the oil filter element, just use a special tool or a wrench of the same size. Before disassembly, all the oil should be drained. You can see the oil drain screw at the bottom of the engine, and you can drain the oil after loosening it.
The main function of the oil filter is to filter the impurities, moisture and gum in the oil, and then transport the clean oil to various lubricating parts. In the process of engine lubricating oil flowing, some air impurities, metal debris, etc. may be brought in. If the engine oil is not filtered, it will lead to impurities in the lubricating oil path, which will speed up the wear of parts.
There is no fixed replacement cycle for the oil filter. Generally, when changing the oil, you need to change the oil filter in time. Because the impurities in the oil are likely to accumulate on the oil filter element, and the oil filter element is a rubber product, it is likely to be deformed and will not work properly after being disassembled and reinstalled.
